Back To Nature
Local artist, Angelo Perrone, has been painting in mixed media for the last fifty years. His recent studies celebrate his love of natural beauty. He is especially involved with the changes of the seasons in our New England area. Angelo feels that the heart of a painting stems from the light within, a glowing sense brings the painting to life. His belief is demonstrated in his three paintings for auction today, created in watercolor and charcoal. ""Water-Color Study" is a nature-inspired painting done in shades of golds and greys. Matted in a brown wood frame, it measures 15" x 12". "Icy Rivers", also a watercolor, is done in shades of gray, gold, white and green. The matted painting is in a gold-toned wood frame and measures 17" x 13". Also demonstrating Angelo's love of nature is his charcoal drawing, in a lovely silverish-toned frame, measuring 24 1/2" x 20 1/2".
