She has always been in love with horses, and when she took a sculpture class in 1978 at the Washington Art Association and encountered clay in its infinite variety, she discovered her passion for creating ceramic horses of all types. Each horse is hand-built, using slabs, coils and pinch pots and they have been shown widely in galleries such as Carole Peck’s Good News Gallery, Chelsea Ceramic Guild, and New York Ceramics Fair, as well as in many other galleries in Connecticut and New York.
