Floral Prints & Case
Jeanne Holgate is the only artist who has received two successive gold medals from the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) of England and served as their official artist for twelve years. Ms. Holgate was commissioned by the Franklin Mint to do flowers of all fifty states. Each matted 22" x 28" print was created by Jeanne Holgate and the entire series of 18 prints depicts the state flowers of the fifty states in the Union. The prints are encased in a wooden stand-alone storage and display case, which is included. In addition to Holgate’s 18 prints, there are two floral prints by Dorothy Falcon Platt, one by Alice Dineen and one by Redoute (not matted).

"Ludorf Barn"
“Ludorf Barn” is an artist-proof lithograph made from an original painting by local artist David Merrill, known for his realistic renderings of rural New England, capturing the nostalgia of a passing era. The Ludorf Barn was given to the Southbury Historical Society by Marie Ludorf after her father John passed away. The barn was restored by the Southbury Historical Society and is being used to teach how early New England farming was done. Unframed, it measures 16 3/4" x 24".

"West Cornwall Bridge"
This 10" x 20" oil on canvas was painted en Plein Aire on a beautiful day in West Cornwall Connecticut. The view is from the shade of the River Park alonside the "Big Red" Bridge. Lorraine loves to paint. For her it's not just a garden or just a beach, she wants her viewers to feel like they are there with her. Nadine Newell is a Connecticut artist who finds her inspirations in the landscapes and objects that are part of her life and surroundings. She loves to paint old barns, lazy cows in a field, a flock of chickens in a barnyard or a boat drifting on a quiet water. All of these things have the play of light and dark shadows that draw her eye to them and she replicates them on canvas for others to enjoy. 8" x 10" oil painting.

"Sunflowers"
Adele Moros is a multi-media artist whose work varies from miniatures to murals, portraits, still life, and landscapes. Ms. Moros has taught painting for the past 25 years and is a Fellow with the International Guild of Miniature Artisans. She has won many awards, and her work is included in numerous private, corporate, and museum collections, including the Toy and Miniature Museum of Kentucky. This acrylic painting, "Sunflowers", measuring 11" x 13", was done on stretched canvas in an impressionist style.

"Autumn On The Farm"
This is a lovely 8" x 10" watercolor inspired by a display set up on Bonny's 1774 farm. She loved the way the corn stalks contrasted with the colors in the pumpkin. The window of the old milk house is in the background, adding to the ambiance of the scene. Bonny has been an artist most of her life. she is known for her paintings of local scenes as well as animal and house portraits. She has been an art teacher since graduating college in 1974 and continues to teach at this time. Her work may be found at local shows as well as the Fine Line Art Gallery in Woodbury.

Liz Monahan has been painting for over two decades. Working primarily in oil and pastels, she expresses her love of nature in her peaceful landscapes and water scenes, as well as in her delightful animal portraits.
